Authors Note

First off, let me thank everybody who has stopped by, read my work and offered your support. If it wasn't for you, I wouldn't be continuing this.

This originally started out a side project, something for me to do in my spare time. I had no idea it would grow to the complexity that it has, nor would I hold such care for my characters I have created. I realize now that I must keep going.

I chose to share this story for the sake of connection with other fans of LOST. To my joy, I have and they are now apart of my life.

They story will continue and it will mirror the story lines of the show but soon it will take a turn where it ceased to be THE story and become MY story. That is what fan ficiton is all about.

My characters are going to interact with the characters from the main show. This was obvious. Everbody knew this was going to happen. The original plan was for, after they had all their adventures, McKay decides to put together the short wave radio he found in the Big Nerd Box. He knew he had no chance of calling anybody; he was simply doing it cause he was bored. However, after he turned it on, he recieves Boone's transmisson.

But that's not going to happen.

There are certain things in the story I want to happen. Certains conflicts that have to be resolved, and certain things done differently from the series. In order for those things to happen, my survivors must hook up with the other survivors BEFORE the launch of Micheal's raft. If they waited for Boone's transmisson, it won't be enough time.

So, after a little brainstorming, I have figured out a way for them to realize there are other survivors on the island. The good news for all the fans is, it will be sooner than later.
